May I present to you a labor of love?
Nearly two years ago on the last full day of Yoga as Muse™ facilitator training, we were kicking around ideas—how do we take the practice back to our lives? How do we promote what we do? How do we honor ourselves and our work as writers while facilitating the writing and creative work of others? When Dawn Curtis said she’d like to edit an anthology of writing by our group, I looked at her from one mat over and said, “I’ll help with that.”
The journey from that moment to this has taken a global village of connection, responsiveness, and determination. Today we formally launch the anthology, Stories We Keep: A Yoga as Muse Anthology, a dynamic collection of writing and interviews and recipes by five women who met with our teacher Jeffrey Davis on a mountain top in the Catskills to delve into and learn how to share our passions for writing and yoga.
The book is available for purchase in softcover or electronic form from www.storieswekeep.com, a new website that will evolve to track the growing facilitator tribe’s work and thoughts on this generative process. Please bookmark the site and check back often. I will be honored if you visit and like the Stories We Keep page on Facebook and if you would pass the word. If you’re in Iowa, save on shipping and pick up a copy of the book directly from me at Radiant Om Yoga (www.radiantomyoga.com).
Thanks for checking in with me this happy first day of March. Much love to you, Rxo
